9 cylinder 'Oberursel Ur II' Scale 1:33
Was this the standard engine of the Fokker triplanes? Or did one fly usually with the "Le rhone"? In the english investigation report over Fokker DrI 144/17 one determines: ( Q 29, S 106) "The engine is an imitation of the 100h.p. 'Le Rhone', by the Oberursel company, and only differs from the french engine in very small points, i.e. the rocker arms are rounded off at the ends, instead of being square,......"
"it gave a supply of some" Le Rhone "engines still in the war. The so called "booty" engines.
Designed by Richard Schulten.
The aces flew mostly "Le Rhone" these were by more careful treatment more stable.
