Jagdstaffel 26 (fighter squadron) was formed on 14 December 1916 in accordance with order of the Kogenluft (Kommandierender general of aviation) No. 1426.16g.A.7.L by FEA 9 Darmstadt (flier replacement department), and was mobile for this time.
For some triplanes the military and/or factory number are not known. In these cases the identification number is specified by me such as par example (x11-3). This means, Jasta (fighter squadron) nr. 11 - nr 3.
