J 2 Boelke - Jagdgeschwader 3
Jagdstaffel 2"Boelcke" (Jasta 2B) (Fighter squadron 2) the Jasta 2B was formed on 10 August 1916 by FEA 7 (flier replacement department) in accordance with order of boss of field aviation NR. 22429 and was mobile since 10 August 1916.
Within the fighter squadrons there were small combat formations, here the Kette (chain) Kempf: Lt. Friedrich Kempf, Lt. Hermann Vallendor, Lt.d.R Richard Plange, Lt. William Papenmeyer, Lt.d.R Paul Schroeder.
For some triplanes the military and/or factory number are not known. In these cases the identification number is specified by me such as par example (x11-3). This means, Jasta (fighter squadron) nr. 11 - nr 3.
